We’ve been invited to deliver a private session for staff at DHU Healthcare as part of their Men’s Health Launch.
This session will be focused on one thing – helping their team understand men’s mental health in a way that lands.
With a workforce made up mainly of NHS 111 call handlers, receptionists, clinical staff and care navigators, the reality is that these are the first people many men speak to when they’re in crisis. But the weight that staff carry – and the way they support men on the edge – often goes unspoken.
Dan will be bringing the MANUP? approach to this session: no fluff, no lecturing, just straight-talking insight on why many men still don’t speak up, and how even small shifts in how we listen can change outcomes.
This isn’t a public event, but it’s part of our mission to go where it counts – into the systems that meet men at their worst and too often don’t have the tools to respond.
